Dance! back when I was a choreography student I fell in love with the Alvin Ailey dancers. And despite the years which have come and gone, my memory of my love for this dance group, it's music and artistry, has remained and I have no doubt will continue to do so ……. The piece which inspired me most was always one called, “Revelations” - …. and those umbrellas in white…… sigh….

regardless, one of my dearest friends in the world danced with Alvin Ailey and his company in the 70's. he has quite a lot to say about the man and his work. suffice to say, the professional dance world is cruel, yet beautiful…
And what is your experience of love?

love is the air i breath, the depth of my heart, my dream and my reality. and you?
I grow deeper and deeper in love with each passing day.
This is my mission, my passion.
To see love in everyone is our highest calling.
I get emotional thinking about it.
Love is the essence of our being
meant to be exercised in everything we do.
Have you ever reached a euphoric state holding someone you love in thought
that could never be experienced in their physical presence?
That euphoric state is reached on a soul level
which is free of our personal dramas.
Soul level love is a gift meant to be shared for its highest good.
Let us take this gift and build our lives around it.

Gabriel > yes, i have that deeply loving connection each time i create a soul mandala, every time i look in a child's eyes, when i embrace my parents, when i speak with friends. it is my most natural state of being, only blocked by my own fears and ego. to the degree i'm able to rise above those blocks, i live suspended in the glow of the energy of love.

I love the Alvin Ailey dancers-and Tolstoy.
There is a section toward the end of “War and Peace” where Tolstoy has the character “Pierre” experience life as love. It is a gorgeous read and manages to fulfill the incredible story told prior. I've never forgotten the line, paraphrased, “Every decision he made at that time was right”.
We are most right when we are most love, most understanding, is the gist. That has proven true for me.

You truly are amazing! - I was singing Gabriella's song from that film, “As it is in Heaven” as I was out on my second hand bike and when I got in I just had to listen to that music on Youtube and there was Lena's song, and right away I thought of this thread of Kristen and Gabby!
