spirituality is the primary focus of my life. if i'm living my soul in a physical body, it's important that each aspect of my life be acknowledged as part of that process. now, that's not to say that i'm successfully working from an elevated state of awareness in every moment, but hopefully when i fall behind, i've given myself a wonderful point to ponder and expand my growth.

i feel most confident when i've completed a task and know i've put my best into it. (it doesn't hurt to have that work recognized as well, but it's not really necessary...)

this particular Questions and Reflections required some consideration. you might think that, as an artist, i would jump on it quickly. but, nooooooo. so, here's my response...
i would create an active, productive artists' world ~ an environment of creation. performances of all types, art of all types, writers and musicians, painters, sculptors, printmakers ~ every type of artistic endeavor you might imagine would be supported and funded. the artists' energy could feed off of each other, building to a wondrous level of epiphany and growth.
the public would be welcomed, at various times, to every point in the creative process. there would be an open door policy, although the specific numbers to observe at any given time would have to be limited. their input would also be welcomed as part of the creative process.
okay, so now that i've visualized this phenomenal place, shall we all manifest it together?

oh, i am blessed, indeed! from birth i've had angels, guides, and ancestors joining forces with the phenomenal humans in my life to allow me to find fortune everywhere.
good and great things happen in my life constantly and i've always been incredibly lucky to have all the grace in my life i might possibly want and need. my life is a bio-epic of serendipity.
of course, i choose this perspective and i believe it to be true. others might look at my life and perceive it otherwise. let's just ask them to keep it to themselves. i may be Pollyanna-ish, but i'm happy and fortunate!

i'm a gentle breeze stroking the souls surrounding me. i'm the sun and i'm clouds ~ balance is a matter of fact. i'm the new moon hiding from sight. i'm the constant of consistent change, freeing a crisp chill and embracing in warmth. i'm me!

♫♪♫ i'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony ♪♫♪ ~ oh, wait, that's something else...
i'd like to teach caring compassion and how to live it. now, as soon as i've perfected it, perhaps i can pass it along...
i'd also like to teach folks how to think (not what but how...). it's something sorely lacking in our educational system and it affects us all. without the ability to think and reason through all the possibilities, decisions are made that ripple out and wreak havoc.

the greatest power in the Universe is love and compassion is love's action statement and lives in all our hearts. so, when i see anyone showing compassion, i consider them to be incredibly powerful.
the person who will give of themselves to care for something or someone else without searching for any kind of return (not even a thank you...) is powerful.
it is absolutely breathtaking to find power ~ to see it face to face ~ and incredibly humbling. ah, what a blessing!

ooooo, this one's easy! do something for someone else! it's the fastest cure for the kind of self-absorption that foments boredom. and part of the joy of it is that it doesn't have to be anything big! it can be really simple and small, but by being focused on others, we lose our focus on ourselves and bring joy in the process! how cool is that!?!
